Due to the poor weather conditions and the fact that Hansen Sanitation and the Tractor that was trying to rescue the truck both got stuck out in our front yard, we have decided to leave early today. We appologize for the inconvenience, but recommend that everyone else go home as well. Have a safe drive!
Hello and Happy Friday (especially to those that just completed their first week of school!)
A heads up that we will be closing the studio until noon on Sept 14 – Sept 16. We will be over at Jesus Loves Me and Risen Savior those mornings taking portraits of the awesome students there! We’ll will be here in the afternoon those three days if you need to get a hold of us.

Alyssa and her mom came in for her senior session a few weeks ago and we went to Minneopa Falls for some beautiful shots. With all the rain we’ve been getting, the falls were pretty intense. Sometimes we go and there is only a trickle of water – not this time!!! Alyssa is really good friends with Jason, a senior with photographed last year. Take a look at some of her sweet shots!
We recently photographed the Armstrong Gerhart wedding. It was a beautiful Fall wedding and we were honored to be chosen to capture the special day for Daniel and Michelle. They were both a lot of fun to work with and we certainly wish the two of them the best in their new life together. Congratulations from Custom Weddings!!

Jen & Joe tied the knot August 8 at a beautiful location in Lakeville. It was an outdoor wedding and thankfully the weather was gorgeous and sunny – no rain!

One of our recent brides, Ashley Thorson, sent us a really awesome thank you card with all sorts of quotes from family and friends about her wedding photographs. Below are some of our favorites:
“RJ (groomsmen): Oh my gosh! Jill got pictures of everything. I had no idea she was taking some of the pictures that she got. She busted us drinking in the parking lot! She’s sneaky… These pictures turned out awesome!
Dr. Krafts (one of my med school profs who is totally into fashion and all that, emailed me after looking at the pictures and said): Wow! WOW! I agree, you had the best photographer! It’s like a magazine spread – just gorgeous. I like the use of some black and white, lots of close-ups and casual shots. (I just want to let you guys know that almost everyone in the med school saw my awesome photos )
Kristen (my sister): I was looking at your pictures today and I got to that one of you holding all the bottles and you were laughing – I literally burst out laughing!
Me (laughing): Ahh, too funny! I burst out laughing too at that same one and Zoey (my cat) looked at me like I was crazy!”
